The Hitachi Salira 3350-GR and 3350-GRF are rack-mounted Optical Network Units (ONUs), designed for Fiber-to-the-Building (FTTB) applications.
These ONUs feature multiple User Network Interfaces to deliver advanced IP-based triple play services to initial or clustered end-users. The 3350-GR and 3350-GRF provide sufficient bandwidth to support the most demanding broadband applications like high-quality digital video. The 3350-GRF model also has a built-in fan module to mitigate increased environmental temperatures during operation. With the Salira 3350-GR and 3350-GRF, service providers can define, monitor, and enforce unique Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on a per-convergence port basis. IP services can be set to precise Quality of Service performance parameters.

| Features | Benefits |
|---|---|
| Carrier-class, IEEE 802.3ah standards-compliant design | Simplifies integration into customer premises environment and speeds deployments |
| Up to 1:64 split ratio and 20 km ranging distance from OLT | Enables high density deployments while minimizing feeder fiber needed; Superior amortization of head-end and CPE equipment; Broad geographic range from head-end |
| Unsurpassed Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation | Enables over-subscription, differentiated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and tiered service offerings |
| Built-in spooler to manage excess fiber | Reduces tension on optical connection to ensure service longevity |
| Remote management | Once the physical plant is installed, all adds, deletes and changes can be done from the head-end |
| Extended temperature range for the 3350-GRF | Allows for CPE deployments in a wide range of environmental conditions |
