Salira Access Management (SAM) - The most robust management system offered for the Salira platforms; SAM is a Java-based, platform-independent NMS which utilizes a client/server architecture. SAM uses menus and a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to manage the network. SAM also displays the network in a tree view. WebSAM - Hitachi created WebSAM so that operators would be able to manage network elements using standard Internet browser software. This can facilitate an operator's ability to perform network configuration and maintenance from remote locations.
CLI - To serve operators who prefer to use Command Line Interface (CLI) language to manage the network, Hitachi continues to support a fully-featured CLI management system.
