Enables single-fiber bidirectional long-haul, metro, and enterprise transmission

The Hitachi AMN6200 wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) system enables bidirectional optical transmission over a single optical fiber (or two fibers for higher capacity) and supports both CWDM and DWDM operation. The AMN6200 supports long-haul, metro and enterprise networks at data rates up to 10Gbps, enabling a flexible, scalable and cost-effective network solution.

The AMN6200 is the most compact solution in its class, occupying only 3 rack units per shelf. With 21 universal and independent slots and a building block architecture, the AMN6200 can be used to build from low capacity to high capacity configurations extremely efficiently and cost effectively.

Efficient Fibre Channel Transport for data center interconnection

The AMN6200 supports Fibre Channel operation at 1Gbps, 2Gbps and 4Gbps (8Gbps in development). Whether your needs are for 4 channels of CWDM or 32 channels of DWDM, the AMN6200 can be used to build an optimal solution.

Hitachi Data Systems Certified

The Hitachi AMN6200 Fibre Channel interface is certified with the Hitachi Enterprise Storage USPV (Hitachi Universal Storage Platform V) and USPVM (Hitachi Universal Storage Platform VM). The AMN6200 is fully qualified for all HDS replication products and storage, and is posted to the HDS Interoperability Matrix.
