Compact, multi-faceted functionality
Hitachi Telecom's AMN7100 Lambda Terminal is a compact, multi-faceted product designed to enhance the features and functionality of Hitachi's AMN6100 DWDM system by providing the interfaces required for 10Gb/s lambda services. With interchangeable line cards, the AMN7100 can resemble any combination of a transponder, regenerator, micro-transmux, CWDM and/or provide an optical switch fabric as an option as well. It is highly flexible and operable as a standalone product or interoperable to enhance another vendor's DWDM system.
